…this blog that I’ve been mulling over for quite a while. I have so much to say about all things culinary. I guess that’s what happens when you live, breathe, cook, dream and, yes, eat food.
Coming from a pretty food-hip family, my journey into cooking began with fits and starts. As my own family grew, it became a creative outlet for me, a way to titillate my kids with new flavors. I played with Italian, French, Asian, Moroccan, Jewish, and American cuisines. Soon I got serious. Went to culinary school. Taught some classes myself. Started catering small events.
Can I interest you in my passion/obsession? And, with an abundance of food blogs already out in the blogosphere, will you even notice? Over the years, I’ve absorbed a lot of information, honed my cooking techniques, and developed my own methodology for planning meals and entertaining. I figure it’s got to be of interest to someone somewhere. At least it will be a good way for me to savor my own thoughts/ideas/observations.
And so I will share my own perspective: recipes, inspirations, habits, mishaps, passions, peeves. I hope you will find some of it useful–maybe even inspiring. I look forward to cooking with you.
