spring break

It’s May, it’s May,
that lovely month when everyone goes blissfully astray….

Sorry, all, couldn’t resist this silly song from Camelot, but it so reflects my mood! I’m going to be blissfully astray myself this month and it’s a wonderful thing. I look forward to a virtual whirlwind of happy activity: my baby girl coming home from her first year at school, a trip to the sunbelt to visit my folks, my son graduating from college (woohoo!), and then a long family vacation to tour the world–well, part of it–and  do some serious bonding (I hope). Because there’s so little time and so much to do, I’ve decided it would be best to take a blog break for the month.
 
In the meantime, during this lusty month, keep on cooking, try to go a little blissfully astray yourself, and don’t worry if tons of little wicked thoughts merrily appear… it’s May!!
I’ll be back in June with lots of passioneats.

    What a wonderful month you will have! I am craving some serious family time right now, but will have to wait until June when I head home. Enjoy yourself, relax, eat fabulour food and have a blast!! Can’t wait to hear about your adventures.
